Talrik Junior Pro
Talrik Junior Pro (TJ Pro) is our most popular and versatile small robot. TJ Pro "sees" with 2 forward facing infrared sensors detecting reflected illumination from 2 IR emitters on the front. An IR emitter on the back, with suitable programming, allows one TJ Pro to follow another one. Four bump detectors tell the robot if, and where, a bump occurs on its bumper. TJ Pro is controlled by a Motorola 68HC11 expanded with 32Kbytes of SRAM. A bundled software distribution package includes library routines and interrupt drivers to enable you to program the robot using the C-language. The TJ Pro body is available in wood and plastic.

The Argos, a two-servo-controlled pan-tilt sensor head which mounts directly on top of the TJ Pro, augments TJ Pro's sensing capabilities with two photoresistors, two more IR detectors and an IR emitter. You can also mount a color camera with RF transmitter, sonar and RF data communication options on the Argos head.

Robobug
Robobug is an autonomous six-legged walking robot. All six legs are controlled by a single Motorola 68HC11 microcontroller in the Mekatronix MSCC11. More advanced behaviors can be programmed by adding the MTJPRO11 board.
The Argos pan-head shown in the picture is optional and is one of the many configurations you can devise from the Argos package.

TalrikII
TalrikII is an autonomous, programmable, mobile robot with an advanced sensor suite. It is controlled by a Motorola 68HC11 microcontroller with 64k SRAM-ROM combinations in 32K blocks. It comes standard with 12 infrared emitter/detectors, 10 bump detectors, and 6 CdS light sensors. TalrikII is available in either wood or ABS plastic.
This is an advanced platform that can be programmed in C or Motorola assembly language. TalrikII supports the Argos Pan-Tilt head. For more information on the basic TalrikII platform, add-on features, and development tools, click here.
